The trials for Commencement Parts were held yesterday afternoon. The Committee on Commencement Parts, which acted as judges, consisted of Dean Briggs, chairman, and Professors J. H. Wright, A. L. Lowell, W. W. Fenn, G. P. Baker, W. Z. Ripley and B. Wyman.

The following speakers were chosen: undergraduate parts--English; E. E. Brown, "The Conservative Party of the United Kingdom"; W. O. Hubbard, "Public Evening Schools"; J. deR. Storey, "The Italian in America." Latin; R. A. Moore, "De Amicitia Semper Conservanda." Graduate part--W. A. Lambeth gr.Dv., "The Spirit of the Present South."
