Result of Interclass Golf Matches

In the first round of play in the team matches to decide the interclass golf championship, played over the Country Club course yesterday afternoon, the Freshmen, won from the Sophomores by default, and the Juniors defeated the Seniors by a score of 6 to 0. Owing to a misunderstanding the match between White and Travis was not played, and was credited to the Juniors by default.

Following is the result of the individual matches, determined on the basis of one-point for the match and one-half point for each hole up at the end of 18 holes. JUNIORS.    SENIORS. McBurney,  1 1/2  Proal,  0 Harrison,  2  Safford,  0 Ellis,  0  Lamson,  0 White,  2 1/2  (by default)   6  0
