The University second nine defeated the Holy Cross second team yesterday afternoon at Worcester by a score of 10 to 3. The Harvard team won through timeloy hitting and the errors of its opponents. Noonan, for Holy Cross, and Greene, for Harvard, pitched well, but both were poorly supported. In the fifth inning Harrington, who was catching for the second nine, had his finger injured by a foul ball. Wickersham did the best batting for Harvard and Hennessy for Holy Cross.
