Spring Football Yesterday

The practice of the spring football squad yesterday was spirited and the men have shown considerable improvement since the outdoor work on Soldiers Field began. Particular attention was paid to punting. R. P. Kernan 1L. had charge of the punters and E. Bowditch '03 of the ends. Coach Reid instructed the backs in catching the ball, and Captain Hurley coached the ball, and Captain Hurley coached the men in passing and falling on the ball and in starting.

The following men reported for practice yesterday for the first time this spring: L. H. Leary 1L., D. B. Somes '08, F. H. Prince sC., and A. L. Pouleur sS.
