Spring football practice for this season ended yesterday afternoon. Since April 5 daily practice has been held on Soldiers Field under the direction of Coach Reid and Captain Hurley. About 30 men have reported daily and their work has consisted of practice in handling and kicking the ball, running down the field under punts, and of practice for the line men in blocking and breaking through their opponents.
In preparation for the kicking contest to be held Friday, May 26, the conditions governing which appeared in Monday's CRIMSON, practice will be held on Soldiers Field Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons at 5 o'clock. Coaches will be present each of these days to assist the men.
The following men have aided in the spring coaching: G. W. Bouve '98, E. Bowditch '03, R. A. Derby '05, R. P. Kernan '03, R. Lawrence '03, and W. H. Lewis L.'95.
