The University association football team was defeated by Haverford by the score of 1 to 0 in a hard game played on Saturday, April 15, on Walton Field, Haverford. Although the score was the same as that in the first game played with Haverford on April 1, the game was much more closely contested. Haverford's only goal was made by Morris in the first half, after a foul. In the second half the play was rough. The University forwards showed marked improvement, but owing to their inaccurate shooting and Pearson's steadiness at goal, they were unable to score. Reggio played a good game at goal and Brooks was very strong on the defense. For Haverford, Lowry and Dickson played an excellent defensive game.
