At the second Sophomore trials held last night to select the team for the Pasteur Medal Debate against the Juniors the following six men were retained: E. R. Brumley, E. W. Friend, W. H. Keeling, M. C. Lechner, S. F. Peavey, W. H. Pollak. The final choice of first and second teams will be made from a debate between these men to be held next Friday at 7 o'clock in the New Lecture Hall. One man of the second team will be chosen as alternate. The subject of the debate with be: "Resolved, That the president of the French Republic should be elected by popular vote."
The final trials to choose the Junior team will be held tomorrow at 7 o'clock in the New Lecture Hall.
