The 1906 Union dance will be held in the Union this evening at 8.30 o'clock. Dancing will begin promptly at 8.45. Arrangements for the dance have been in the hands of the following committee appointed by R. Grant, Jr., '06, under a vote of the Junior members of the Union: R. Grant, Jr., chairman, J. V. Dignowity, D. H. Howe, N. Kelley, J. M. Montgomery, Jr., D. A. Newhall, J.D. Nichols, S. D. Preston, B. K. Stephenson, C. e. Ware, Jr., J. L. White.
Following are the arrangements: at 7.30 o'clock the Union will be closed to all but those presenting tickets for the dance. The main door will be locked, and guests will use the ladies entrance. Carriage checks will be given out here and carriages may be ordered for 3.45 o'clock. Special cars will leave for Boston after the dance. The cloak room for ladies will be the Ladies Parlor and the Old Billiard Room, and that for gentlemen and Smoking room in the basement Hard and Smoking room in the basement will be open throughout the evening.
There will be twenty-four dances and six extras. Cutting in will be allowed only during encores. A bullet supper will be served from the dining room after the thirteenth dance. Gott's orchestra will furnish the music. Decorations for the boxes in the Periodical and Game Rooms will be furnished by Brock Bros., and rugs will be loaned through the kindness of Mr. J. L. Paine SL.
Tickets for the dance may be obtained by 1906 members of the Union, and by other members of the Union who have received invitations, before 6 o'clock at the office of the Union. It will be impossible to obtain tickets in the evening, and will be useless to send for members of the committee.
In order that men may easily find their partners the following arrangements in regard to boxes have been made. All men taking partners have been assigned to boxes, which will be located as follows: A, B, C and D in the Writing Room; E, F, G, H, and J, in the Periodical Room; K, L, M, and N, in the Game Room; and O and P in the Lobby. Alphabetical lists giving the location of all occupants of boxes will be placed in each box. Following is the corrected assignment of boxes:
