The first trials to select the Junior team for the Pasteur Medal debate will be held this evening at 7.30 o'clock in Harvard 6. Each man will speak five minutes on either side of the question: "Resolved, That the president of the French republic should be elected by popular vote." Six men will be retained and divided by lot into two teams to debate in the final trials, on Thursday evening, March 9.
The first trials to select the Sophomore team for the debate will be held this evening at 7 o'clock in the New Lecture Hall. The same conditions will hold as at the Junior trials, save that twelve men will be chosen to speak at the second trials, on Tuesday evening, March 7. Six men will then be retained for the final trials on Friday, March 10.
