Hon. A. K. Peck of Boston will lecture on the Life Saving Service of the United States in the Living Room of the Union this evening at 7.30 o'clock. The lecture will be illustrated by stereopticon views of storms, wrecks, fires at sea, life-saving drill, and heroes of the service.
Mr. Peck has been granted special facilities by the Government to study his subject, and has acquired extensive knowledge of it and a comprehensive collection of views. He has travelled extensively in both Europe and America. Last year he gave a lecture in the Union on "The Wild West."
The lecture will be open only to members of the Union.
