The University association football team played a tie game, in which neither side scored, with the Fort Warren team last Saturday afternoon on Soldiers Field. The superior weight and individual play of the members of the University team kept the ball in Fort Warren's territory most of the time. Only the aggressiveness and team work of their opponents prevented the University team from scoring several times after rushes by Osborne, whose dribbling was a feature of the game.
The line-up:
Score--Harvard, 0; Fort Warren, 0. Referee--H. S. Wyndham-Gittens '06, J. Sheridan, Lynn Football Club. Linesmen--F. R. Pleasonton '06 and Borgman, Fort Warren. Timekeeper--B. K. Stephenson '06. Time--25 and 30-minute halves.
