At an adjourned meeting of the Board of Overseers yesterday morning it was voted to concar with the Corporation in appointing T. N. Perkins '91 a Fellow of the Corporation, in place of Samuel Hoar '67 deceased. Mr. Perkins rowed on the University crew for three years and in 1891 was captain and stroke of the crew which defeated Yale. He is at present one of the three graduate members of the Athletic committee and is in the law firm of Ropes, Gray and Gorham, Boston.
It was also voted to concur with the Corporation in the appointment of T. N. Carver, Ph.D., David A. Wells professor of political economy from September 1, 1904, and of R. B. Merriman '96, Ph.D., instructor in history from September 1, 1905.
