Dr. J. E. Sandys, fellow and lecture of St. John's College, and orator of the University of Cambridge, who is scheduled to give a course of six lectures "On the Study of Latin during the Revival of Learning in Italy," has been detained in Queenstown, as the steamer on which he sailed for this country was obliged to put back for repairs.
