"Varsity Club" Formed Last Night.

About 35 men were present at the smoker held last night in the Union for all men who have won the "H" in any of the four major sports. R. Oveson '05 presided. A definite organization was effected and the name "Varsity Club of Harvard University" adopted.

Three or four more meetings will be held this year, and it is proposed hereafter to hold annually six meetings, of which one shall be a dinner and the others smokers. The committee in charge of the meetings will be the four captains and a fifth members chosen by them.

A constitution was drawn up and the following officers elected: president, R. Oveson '05; secretary, W. A. Schick, Jr., '05; treasurer, C. W. Randall '05.
