GYMNASTICS WITH PRINCETON

In Gymnasium Tonight at 8 o'clock.--Events and Entries.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The University gymnastic team will hold a dual meet with Princeton this evening at 8 o'clock in the Hemenway Gymnasium. The team was defeated in a close contest with Columbia last Friday evening in New York. Since then it has been practicing daily under the supervision of Mr. Dohs and has shown considerable improvement. The individual performances in practice give evidence of skill and form, and a close contest with Princeton is certain. This will be the last public appearance of the University team before the intercollegiate gymnastic meet at Princeton on March 31.

A special feature will be introduced in the meet tonight. Three members of the Princeton team will compete in combination tumbling with two members of the Harvard team, and the team winning this event will be credited with three points. The scoring in the other events will be as follows: five points for first place, three for second, and one for third. Gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded in each event by the following judges: C. W. Eberhard of the Boston Athletic Association, Dr. P. S. Page of Andover Academy, Dr. A. E. Garland of Boston Y. M. C. A., O. G. Hebbert of Providence Y. M. C. A., G. Hoffman of Boston Y. M. C. U., W. C. Towne of Massachusetts Institute of Technology, E. A.
