The University basketball team defeated West Point at West Point Saturday afternoon by the score of 21 to 11. The playing of both teams was fast, but the University team was superior in team play and more accurate in shooting baskets.

Griffiths scored a basket for the University team in the first minute of play. West Point quickly tied the score, but successive baskets by Snyder, Henderson and Murray gave the University team a safe lead. At the end of the first half the score stood 17 to 7 in favor of Harvard. In the second half each team scored twice from the floor.
