The Freshman basketball team defeated the Yale freshmen by a score of 15 to 13 last evening in the Hemenway Gymnasium.
The game throughout was closely contested and the result was in doubt until the last minute of play. At the end of the first half the score was 5 to 5, and in the second the lead frequently changed.
Inaccuracy in throwing baskets was a great fault of the Harvard Freshmen, which was only overcome by repeated attempts.

Score--Harvard 1908, 15; Yale 1908, 13.  Goals from the floor--Amberg 3, Brown 2, Fowler 3, Coholan.  Goals from fouls--Chapin 5, Broun 2, Amberg 3.  Referee--C. Jones '06.  Umpire--R. J. Ineson, Yale '07S.  Timekeeper--W. C. Chamberlain '08.  Time--20-minute halves.
