University Basketball Team Defeated for First Time This Season.

WORCESTER, February 16.--The Harvard basketball team was defeated for the first time this season by Holy Cross here tonight in the Holy Cross Gymnasium by the score of 34 to 7. The small floor surface and the nets enclosing it handicapped the Harvard players and prevented good team play. Two long and difficult baskets by Reid and Stevenson were the features of the game.
