The first debate of the interclass series will be held between the Sophomores and Freshmen next Monday evening at 7.30 o'clock in the New Lecture Hall. The question for debate, submitted by the Sophomores, is: "Resolved, that the present attitude of the administration towards San Domingo is justifiable." In this debate the Sophomore team, which will support the negative, will speak in the following order: E. R. Lewis, D. Rosenblum, P. L. Butler. The order of the Freshman speakers, who have chosen to support the affirmative, is: G. C. Good, B. S. Pouzzner, I. Dimond. No alternates have as yet been chosen.
Professors C. J. Bullock and A. P. Andrew of the department of Economics, and S. Curtis, assistant in the department of English, will act as judges. M. Thelen sL. will preside.
Both teams have been holding regular practice debates during the past few weeks and the debate should be well contested. Although the Sophomore team is composed of more experienced material this is offset by the advantage of the side which the Freshmen have chosen to defend. E. M. Rabenold 2L. has been coaching the Sophomores, and A. C. Blagden 1G. the Freshmen.
