At the conference of professors of education yesterday morning an organization to be known as the Conference of New England College Professors of Education was formed. Professor P. H. Hanus, of the Department of Education, was elected president, and Professor W. B. Jacobs, of Brown, was elected secretary for the ensuing year.
Conferences will be held annually on the Friday following Thanksgiving Day. At the invitation of Professor W. N. Warren, of Boston University, it was decided to hold the next meeting at Boston University. A vote of thanks to the Corporation was passed for its hospitality. The discussion on the topic announced was participated in by most of the members present. The president and secretary were appointed an executive committee to arrange for the details of the next meeting.
