A practice hockey game on Saturday between the first and second teams resulted, at the end of two 10-minute periods, in a score of five to two in favor of the first team. A slight improvement in the passing was evident and the men on the first team, when they had lost the puck, followed back well. Several graduates played for a time on the second team, but the first team's very effective defence prevented the second from securing more than two goals. Dr. F. J. Goodridge '98, J. W. Foster '03, J. B. Manning 4M., and D. P. Penhallow '03 assisted A. Winsor '02 in coaching the squad.

The teams lined up as follows: FIRST TEAM.  SECOND TEAM. Pell, l.e.  r.e., Claflin, Foster A. Fraser-Campbell, Cowdin, l.c.  r.c., Goodridge, Briggs McLeod, Edgell, r.c.  l.c., Irving, Winsor M.
