At a well attended smoker of the Sophomore class on Thursday it was decided by a vote of 137 to 9 to have a series of informal class dinners in the Union at intervals during the year. A limited number of men will be invited to each dinner, but there will be enough dinners to give every member of the class an opportunity to attend at least one. Tickets will be sold to defray the expenses.
These dinners will be a substitute for the special smokers of last year to which only small numbers of men were invited. They are not to take the place of the regular class smokers, several more of which will be held in the course of the year.
