The following team has been chosen to represent the University in the intercollegiate chess tournament, to be held at the West Side Republican Club, New York, on December 21, 22, and 23; P. W. Bridgman 2G., E. R. Perry '06, S. W. Howland 2L., Q. A. Brackett '06. Substitutes: G. T. McClure '06, W. C. Cogswell '07, and E. H. Gruening '07.

All the men on this year's team, with the exception of Perry, played on last year's team, which won the intercollegiate tournament.
