Short practice was given the University hockey squad yesterday afternoon in the basement of the Gymnasium. The men showed some improvement in shooting, the puck as a rule, rising fairly high, and the direction being accurate. The game with Brookline, scheduled for this afternoon, has been cancelled. If possible the practice today will be held on Artificial Pond.
