In the second game of the interclass basketball series last night, the Sophomores defeated the Freshmen by the score of 17 to 11. The Sophomore team was faster than the Freshman, but was very weak in shooting. The Freshmen guarded well, especially when the ball was near their goal. Both teams showed undeveloped team play.
The summary:     Score--1908, 17; 1909, 11. Goals from the floor--Amberg 4, Brown 2, Marsh, Brooks, Currie, Dean.  Goals from fouls--Currie 5, Brown 3.  Referee--H.R. Snyder 1L.  Umpire--E.L. Grant '06.  Timekeepers--S.L. Kahn '07, E.I. Marks '09.  Time--20 minute halves.  The final game of the series will be played between the Seniors and the Sophomores tomorrow evening at 7 o'clock in the Gymnasium.
