FIRST INTERCLASS DEBATE

Between Sophomores and Freshmen in New Lecture Hall Tonight at 8.

The first debate of the interclass series will be held between the Sophomores and Freshmen this evening at 8 o'clock in the New Lecture Hall. The question for debate, submitted by the Sophomores, is: "Resolved, That the army canteen should be re-established." The 1907 team will support the negative and will speak in the following order: G. J. Hirsch, M. C. Leckner, S. F. Peavey. I. Doughton has been chosen alternate. The order of the Freshman speakers, who will support the affirmative, is: D. Rosenblum, P. L. Butler, E. R. Lewis. An alternate for this team will be chosen today. In rebuttal both teams will speak in the same order as in the main speeches. F. B. Wagner 3L, has been coaching the Sophomores, and G. Bettman 1L, the Freshmen.

R. LuV. Lyman '03, H. LeB. Sampson L.'04, and E. C. Demoss 1L., will act as judges. A. C. Travis '05 will preside.

The debate will be open to the public, but seats will be reserved on the right side of the floor for members of the Sophomore class and on the left side for Freshmen. Members of the two second teams will act as ushers. Cheer leaders will be appointed to lead cheering for the teams during the debate.
