Second 1908 and 1909 Debate Trials

The second of the three trial debates to choose the teams, for the Sophomore. Freshman debate on December 11, will take place this evening. The question for debate is: "Resolved, That the present policy of the administration in regard to San Domingo is justifiable."

The Sophomore trial will be held in the Assembly Room of the Union at 7.30 o'clock, and the Freshman trial in Sever 11, at the same time. Speeches will be eight minutes long, and six men from each class will be retained to speak at the final trials Thursday night. These trials will be open only to the men who were retained at the first trials, whose names appeared in Saturday's CRIMSON, together with Sophomore members of the University Debating Club.

The order of speaking for both trials will be posted in the Reading Room of Gore Hall this morning.
