First Round of Chess Team Trials

As a result of the first round of the chess trials, eighteen men have been selected for further trial. These men are divided into three sections of six each; each man will play every other man in his section, and the three best men in each section together with one more man to be chosen from the remaining ones will make the team of ten which will play Yale November 24. The sections are as follows:

Section 1.--Bridgeman 2G., Johnson '07, Rines '07, Utley '08, Morse '07, Potter '09.

Section 2.--Howland 2L., Brackett '06, Cogswell '06, Granger 2G., Greuning '07, Dewey '09.

Section 3.--McClure '06, Perry '06, Abbot '06, Palsson '09, Hamilton '07, Read '07.
