The general plan of the geological conferences in the University has recently been revised. Instead of holding meetings every Tuesday evening, as formerly, the conferences will hereafter be held on the first Tuesday evening of every month. The meetings will be held primarily for the presentation of papers by the officers of the Department of Geology as well as by other men upon invitation.
