The University chess team defeated Yale in the annual dual match, which was held in the Union Friday night, by a score of 5 1-2 to 3 1-2 points.

P. W. Bridgman 2G., captain of the Harvard team, did not finish his match with W. N. Woodbury, and it will probably be judicated a draw.
