Fall Baseball Game

Team C defeated team D yesterday afternoon by a score of 12 to 6 in the second game of the fall baseball series. Although the fielding was very ragged, on the whole the teams played better baseball than teams A and B on Thursday afternoon. Neither team showed ability in batting and the runs were principally due to errors by the opposing side. Team C made three runs in each of the first three innings as a result of a few hits and errors by team D. In the second and fourth innings team D scored four runs and on a wild throw added two more in the ninth but was unable to overcome team C's lead.

The batting order with the score by innings was as follows: TEAM C.  TEAM D. Pope, Currier, 1b.  1b., Sibley McCall, 2b.  2b., Garfield Jones, 3b.  3b., Boggs Pritchett, s.s.  s.s., Tucker Chandler, l.f.  l.f., Pickman Goode, c.f.  c.f., Denny Barta, r.f.  r.f., Bennett Rivinius, c.  c., Moss Smith, p.  p., Marsh, Woodward
