Golf Team Plans and Prospects

The tenth annual tournament of the Intercollegiate Golf Association will be held this year at the Garden City Golf Club, starting on Monday, October 16. On the first two days the team matches will be played, while the remainder of the week will be devoted to the individual championship. Before the intercollegiate tournament two team matches will be played: the first, tomorrow with the Fall River Golf Club, and another with the Brookline Country Club, probably on October 11.

Owing to the loss of several of its members the prospects for a strong team this autumn are not particularly bright. Besides Captain McBurney the only available members of last year's team are F. Ingalls 2L., and E. Wilder, Jr., '06, who was a substitute. H. C. Egan '05, W. E. Egan '05, and W. C. Chick '05 have left College, while A. L. White '06 will be unable to play this fall. The remainder of the team will have to be chosen from the following men, who are the most promising of the candidates: P. Gilbert '08, S. Stickney '08, F. Kemble '08, W. F. Harrison '06, T. Briggs '09, H. H. Wilder '09.
