HAVERFORD, PA., Oct. 4.--In the semifinal round of the 25th annual intercollegiate tennis tournament, which was held today on the courts of the Merion Cricket Club, A. M. Behr of Yale defeated H. H. Whitman '06 6-3, 6-3, and E. Dewhurst of Pennsylvania defeated F. J. Sulloway 2L. 6-0, 6-3. In the second round of the doubles R. E. Wells and S. Field of Yale defeated R. N. Philler and J. O. Downey of the University of Pennsylvania, 2-6, 6-2, 6-4. The match for championship in the singles will be played tomorrow between A. M. Behr of Yale and E. Dewhurst of Pennsylvania.

Singles, semi-final round--Behr (Yale) defeated Whitman (Harvard), 6-3, 6-3. Dewhurst (Pennsylvania) defeated Sulloway (Harvard), 6-0, 6-3.
Doubles, second round--Wells and Field (Yale) defeated Philler and Downey (Pennsylvania), 2-6, 6-2, 6-4.
