Cross Country Work Yesterday

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The fast squad of the cross country team, consisting of 20 men, yesterday ran over the Technology course from Highland Station, West Roxbury, to the new grounds of the Institute of Technology in Brookline Village, a distance of about five miles. Fair time was made. M. H. Stone '07 finished first.

Tomorrow afternoon at 4.15 o'clock candidates for the team will meet at the Locker Building and run at an easy pace over the course chosen for the team trials on Friday. This course has not yet been announced, but it will probably be the one leading around Fresh Pond.

On Friday trials will be held to pick the team which will run against Technology on November 11. Men who fail to make the team at these trials may enter for the consolation run on November 10 by signing the blue book at the Locker Building. Cups will be awarded as prizes for this event.
