RECEPTION TO NEW STUDENTS

By the Faculty in the Union at 8 o'clock. President Eliot Will Speak.

The annual reception given by the Phillips Brooks House Association to all new students in the University will be held this evening at 8 o'clock in Peabody Hall on the third floor of Phillips Brooks House.

H. B. Barton '09, president of the Association will preside and will introduce the speakers. The speakers are as follows: Professor E. C. Moore, chairman of the Phillips Brooks House Committee; A. G. Cable '09 chairman of the social service committee, B. D. Hall '09 president of the Christian Association; F. W. Sullivan '10, president of St. Paul's Catholic Club; J. M. Groton '09, graduate secretary.

After the brief speeches have been made, members of the Glee Club will sing and the songs to be found in the Harvard hand-book will be practiced. Refreshments will be served. All men entering the College in the class of 1912 and all new students in the University are cordially invited to be present.
