About 80 men reported for fall track work in the Stadium yesterday and were given light preliminary work under the direction of Mr. J. G. Lathrop, the regular trainer of the track team. A number of Freshmen reported and the promising squad of long distance runners makes probable a strong cross country team. More men are needed, however, and they should report in the Stadium today either between 10 and 1 o'clock or 3 and 5.30 o'clock. During the remainder of the week work for the squad will be of a light nature.

The scratch meet for Freshmen, which is an innovation, will be held in the Stadium on Monday, October 16. The annual fall handicap games will be held on Saturday, October 21.
