Fall crew practice began yesterday afternoon when about 16 men reported at the University Boat Club. They were given light practice in pair-oar and single shells.
From now on there will be regular crew work for the squad, which will be gradually enlarged from any promising material on the graded club crews. Work in eight-oared shells will be varied with single-sculling. Coach Wray and Captain Filley will supervise the men.
The following are at present on the squad: Bacon, Newhall, Flint, Tappan, Burchard, Corlett, Bell, Morgan, Fish, Warren, Richardson, Wiggins, Despard, Fahnestock, Shepard, Glass, Emmons and Amberg.
