At a meeting of the University Debating Council, Monday evening, it was decided to hold the debate with Princeton on Friday evening, December 15, in Sandes Theatre. That date has been submitted to the Princeton Debating Club and approved. The subject for the debate has not yet been decided upon, but will be announced on November 4.
Three trials will be held to select a team to represent the University, the first on November 7, the second on November 10, and the third on November 14. At the first trial men will speak five minutes each, and sixteen men will be retained. These will be divided by lot into teams, which will compete against each other at the second trial. From the third and final trial, three men will be retained to represent the University on December 15.
All the trials will be held in the New Lecture Hall, and will be open to the public.
