The Yale football team defeated Pennsylvania State at New Haven Saturday by a score of 12 to 0.
In the first half Yale was completely outplayed, and would have been scored on, but for a fumble by Pennsylvania, and a poor attempt to kick a goal from the field. In the second half, Pennsylvania weakened, but still kept Yale mostly on the defense. At times, Yale showed brilliant offense, both touchdowns being the result of powerfully executed attacks.
The Yale line-up was as follows: l.e., Congden, Cates; l.t., Forbes; l.g., Erwin, Hockenberger; c., Flanders, Smith; r.g, Tripp; r.t., Bigelow; r.e., Shevlin; q.b., Hutchinson, Jones; l.h.b., Veeder; r.h.b., Morse; f.b., Flinn, Levine.
