The bust of James Russell Lowell 38, the gift to the University from the class of 1883, which will be placed on the pedestal at the north side of Massachusetts Hall will not be ready for several months. As the marble bust, which was on the pedestal at commencement last June, proved too large, the new one was ordered. It will be of cast bronze and about three quarters the size of the former marble bust.
