The first round of the pistol tournament for the novice cup was held in the baseball cage last night. The best shooting was done by B. Dewey '08, who made a score of 75 out of a possible 100 points. The shooting was done at a distance of 15 yards at Decimao targets. The next round of the tournament will be held on Thursday of next week.

About the first of November there will be a re-entry shoot, a new feature this year, for a cup given by a former member of the club. After the Christmas recess the club will hold a handicap shoot for rifles and revolvers, followed by a shoot for the championship of the University. The second round of the rifle shoot for novice cup will be held on Tuesday. This shoot is open to all men who have never won a cup in any University shoot.
