Crew Work on the River

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

No new dormitory eights were formed yesterday afternoon, but the crews already on the river showed some improvement over Thursday's work. Several of the less experienced crews were given practice on the machines under the supervision of members of the University squad.

Captain Filley's provisional eight-rowed up to Brighton Bridge yesterday afternoon and back in easy stretches.

The crew rowed in the following order:

Stroke, Filley; 7, Newhall; 6, Farley; 5, Richardson; 4, Fish; 3, Fahnestock; 2, Tappan; bow, Burchard; cox, swain, Blagden.
