The Shooting Club opens its season today at the box on Soldiers Field. Until December 1 shoots will be held Tuesday and Friday afternoons from 2 to 4.30. C. W. Wickersham '06 has been elected captain in place of N. C. Ward '05, resigned.
The Novice Cup, open to all members of the University who have never won a shooting prize, will be given as usual to the man making the highest scores in four shoots held weekly. Shoots for the Bancroft Cup will be held in the middle of each month.
The University team schedule provides for dual shoots with the Boston Athletic Association, the Watertown Gun. Club, the Boston Gun Club, Birchbrook, Princeton, Yale, and the intercollegiate shoot to be held on Soldiers Field on November 25.
