A large collection of stereoscopic views and two stereoscopes have recently been purchased by the Union and have been placed on the shelves in the south room of the library. The views are in six sets of one hundred each and consist of scenes in the United States, Russia, India, Japan and Italy.

There has also been placed upon exhibition in the Reading Room an interesting collection of 32 etchings by Mr. H. R. Blaney, of historical scenes in Boston. The sites of the pictures have been designated on a map of Boston which has been placed in the game room.
