Plans for Swimming Teams.

At the meeting held last night forty men handed in their names as candidates for the University swimming, diving and water-polo teams. Ten others who were unable to report last night will also come out later.

After plans for the year had been talked over, a short practice was held in the Dunster Tank for men trying for the relay team. The first regular practice, however, at which all men who still intend to come out should report, will be held tomorrow evening at 8 o'clock, and hereafter practice will continue on Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights from 8 to 9 o'clock, until the University squad is picked. W. T. Harrison '05 and H. P. Pratt '05 will coach the men individually in the Trudgeon and side strokes, the coaching being directed chiefly toward improvement in form rather than increased speed.
