W. T. Reid, Jr., '01 arrived in Boston Saturday from his home in California to confer with Captain Hurley and the Athletic Committee in regard to coaching the football team. The Committee wrote to Mr. Reid some time ago, to ascertain whether he would be willing to return to Cambridge to coach if satisfactory arrangements could be made; and he has come to investigate the situation personally before giving his reply. Since his arrival Mr. Reid has had two conferences with Captain Hurley, but no decision has yet been reached.
