The University hockey team will leave for New York this afternoon on the 1 o'clock train and will spend the night at the Murray Hill Hotel. Tomorrow evening the team will play Columbia at the St. Nicholas Rink in the first game of its intercollegiate schedule, returning to Cambridge on the midnight train after the game.

The following men will be taken: Callaway, Wilder, Townsend, Pell, Newhall, Grant, Manning, Foster, D. Wagstaff.

Owing to the very poor condition of the ice yesterday afternoon there was no regular hockey practice. The team was instead given a long practice skate to keep the men in condition for tomorrow's game.
