The first religious service of the year will be held in Appleton Chapel on Sunday evening at 7.30 o'clock, and will be conducted by Rev. Professor Peabody Rev. Professor Francis Brown will deliver the sermon and addresses in behalf of the Preachers to the University will be made by the Rt. Rev. William Lawrence, D.D., Bishop of Massachusetts, and Rev. Professor W. W. Fenn. Students of the University should enter at the south side door, and officers of the University and their families at the north side door. Until 7.25 o'clock seats will be reserved for members of the University.

Daily morning prayers, at 8.45 o'clock, will begin on Monday, and will be conducted by Professor Peabody until October 10.
