The Metropolitan Amateur Rowing Association will hold its annual regatta on the Charles River this afternoon, the first race starting at 1 o'clock.
The Weld Boat Club has entered a crew to compete in both the junior and senior eight-oared shell races, and has also made one entry in each of the novice, junior, and intermediate races for single sculls. The eight-oared crews will row a mile and a half straightaway course from the Cottage Farm Bridge to the Union Boat Club. The single scull races will be over the first half of the same course and return, finishing at the Union Boat Club.
