The University cricket team defeated the Brockton Cricket Club at Brockton Saturday in its second game of the season by the score of 58 to 34. The batting of both teams was week, in spite of the excellent crease on which the game was played. Barnes was strongest at bat for Harvard, and after tieing the Brockton score alone, was eventually run out. F. C. Taylor bowled well, taking four wickets in 12 runs: for Brockton, Orton had six wickets in 28 runs, and Heritage six in 12 runs.
